School dates in your calendar, automatically

Peakly reads your child’s school emails and puts the dates in the Google or Outlook calendar you already use: trips, performances, parents’ evenings, clubs and deadlines, each with a link back to the email it came from.

Google Calendar and Outlook

Peakly adds events to the calendar of the account you sign in with, Google or Microsoft. There is no new calendar app to learn: the dates appear next to everything else in your week.

Kept up to date

  • When the school sends a correction or a new time, the entry moves.
  • Several emails about the same day become one entry, not a stack of duplicates.
  • Delete an entry from your calendar and Peakly removes it too. It does not come back.
  • Weekly clubs and lessons repeat for as long as the school says they run.

Term dates, half terms and INSET days

Peakly has the term dates of several thousand schools in England, read from each school’s own website, or from its council’s where the council sets them. If your school is one of them, its half terms, INSET days and early finishes go into your calendar for the year, and at the start of each term you get a WhatsApp message with that term’s closures. If it is not yet, the dates in the school’s own letters still go in as they arrive.

Questions parents ask

Which calendars does Peakly work with?

Google Calendar and Outlook, including Microsoft 365.

Will it add events for other year groups?

No. Peakly checks which year group an email is for, and only adds what applies to your child.

Can I see where an event came from?

Yes. Every entry links to the original school email.
