Understands school emails

School emails are long, and the important line is often halfway down a newsletter or in an attached letter. Peakly reads each email from your school and club addresses, including PDF letters where the text can be read, and picks out what parents need: dates, trips, payment deadlines, parents’ evenings, non-uniform days, performances, closures and anything that needs a reply. It works out which child each email is about, and leaves out what is only for other year groups.

WhatsApp summaries

Most parents check WhatsApp many times a day; school email can sit unread for days. Peakly sends a short message for each school email that has something in it for you: what is happening, when, for which child, and what to do, with a link to the original email. At 8pm each evening you also get a summary of what is on tomorrow.

Calendar sync

Dates go straight into the Google Calendar or Outlook you already use, next to work and family plans. When a school sends a correction, the entry moves. Several emails about the same day become one entry. If you delete an entry, Peakly removes it too. And where Peakly has your school’s term dates, half terms, INSET days and early finishes are added for the year.

Several children, several schools

Add each child with their school and year group, and every school, club and activity address that emails you. Each child is tracked separately, so messages and calendar entries always say who they are for, even when your children are at different schools.

Quiet hours

Schools do not always email at convenient times. With quiet hours on, anything that arrives overnight is held and delivered at the morning time you choose. Nothing is lost; it just arrives when you are ready for it.

Private and secure

• You sign in with Google or Microsoft. Peakly never sees or stores your email password.
• Access is read-only: Peakly cannot send, move or delete your email.
• Peakly only looks at mail from the school and club addresses you give it.
• Email text is read and then discarded. It is never written to Peakly’s database; only the event details are kept.
• Your data is never sold or used for advertising, and you can delete your account at any time.
